How Do I…

Our growing Reference Library contains tens of thousands of news and research articles. Users can use the search box in the upper right corner of the website to enter a key word or phrase that you would like to investigate. A list of articles containing that word or phrase will appear, and you can click on the title to read the article.
Or, for a more advanced search, use the “Reference Library” link in the left-side menu. The advanced search will allow you to enter a portion of a title, an author name, or other criteria to narrow your search to more specifically meet your needs.
In addition, if you want to reference a particular newsletter, use the “Newsletter Archive” link to find a particular newsletter.
The “Top Story Archive” also lists, in reverse chronological order, all articles that have been added to the PorkNet Reference Library (note that technical article summaries will not appear in the Top Story Archive).
Adjust my e-mail program so that I can view the newsletter in HTML format
In order to bring you the most visually up-to-date experience, we are publishing the PorkNet newsletter in HTML format. If the links within the newsletter do not work, it is probable that a quick change within your e-mail program will solve this problem!
For instance, if using Microsoft Outlook, under the TOOLS menu option, select OPTIONS and click the MAIL FORMAT tab. Select HTML as the message format. Search your e-mail program’s help system for HTML to find the steps you’ll need to take.
If your program does not offer this option or if you truly prefer a text version of the newsletter (being aware that some features will not work in plain text), please send a request to support@porknet.com requesting that your newsletter be delivered in text format.
Another excellent option is to reference the Newsletter Archive on the PorkNet website.
Change any of the information about my account
Once you are logged on using your username/password, you can use the “Update Your Profile” link to change your information. PorkNet does not resell your information. If you have forgotten your password, you can use the “Forgot password?” link and it will be e-mailed to you.
